Construction under way at Arlington Rise

12 August, 2008

Urban Pacific today announced the start of construction on its $130 million Arlington Rise development at Portarlington.

Following the granting of planning approval from the City of Greater Geelong, the much-anticipated development will soon spring into life, most notably during the next two months as civil works begin.

Sales are under way and construction of the first homes is expected to start in early 2009.

Located on the northern tip of The Bellarine and only 25 minutes drive from Geelong, Arlington Rise comprises more than 300 homesites. Traditional blocks will be complemented by a mixture of medium density and townhouse allotments.

Urban Pacific’s Arlington Rise Project Director, Mr Nicholas Stabb, says Arlington Rise appeals to a mixture of locals, holidaymakers and people seeking a coastal lifestyle.

“The Bellarine is an exciting and growing area of Victoria,” he said. “Arlington Rise residents will not only have outstanding views, they’ll be minutes walk to Portarlington’s main street, beach and pier.

“We’re already getting a strong response from buyers who appreciate the access to wineries, surf beaches and other attractions.”

Homesites in the first stage range from 409sqm to 641sqm, and are priced from $146,000 to $299,000.

Arlington Rise is on the corner of Sproat Street and Tower Road.
